Tes online skills. Racial skills. What is the work of a healer?

TES Online skills are an integral part of development as you level up your character. Using skills, abilities and talents in the game will help you explore the world of Nirn in more detail, engage in crafting, enchanting, and simply fight with opponents.

Full list of TES Online skills

Racial skills– 4 passive abilities determined when choosing a race. They increase skill when using a certain type of weapon.

Crafting skills– development abilities.

World Skills– can be discovered through reconnaissance. Your character can only access these abilities by joining a specific guild or discovering them while traveling

  • Soul Magic - allows you to capture souls and fill soul stones.
  • Vampires are skills that allow you to use the abilities of a vampire.
  • Werewolves - skills that allow you to use the abilities of a werewolf.

Passive Abilities do not require any action from the player. If you add skill points, you automatically get the result. For example, you can increase your passive defense or attack. The effects of passive abilities are permanent.

Active Abilities require action from the player to activate. Such abilities must be on the hotkey panel and can only be activated from the hotbar. An example of such an ability is Double Strike - you can hit an enemy with two weapons at the same time.

Levels and progress

If you have certain abilities on your hotkey bar and use them during the game, you will gain experience for that ability. The more you use them, the faster your level increases. If you reach level 4 in a weapon skill or class mastery skill, you can add new effects (enhancements) to the mastery. For example, you can add a knockback or stun effect. Additional abilities vary for different skills. This system allows you to create a unique character with a unique set of skills. You can manage your abilities and additional effects yourself.
The overall idea of TES Online will allow players to pick up any weapon and explore different abilities and talents. It doesn't matter how you start, you can change your major at any time. To unlock all the talents and try out a different build, you just need to have free skill points.

Changing Specialization

ESO gives the player the opportunity to choose the appropriate skills and create many builds. You can distribute experience points at any time. You can reset your skills by getting a number to try out new skills or cancel them if they don’t suit you. It will cost money and the price will be quite high. So, it is not a cheap option that can be used all the time.

As has been mentioned more than once, character development can be tracked in the Skills Menu. Here you can also reconfigure the skill lines available to you.

Skill branches are listed in the corresponding categories presented on the left side of the skill window. When you select one of the branches, all abilities included in it will be shown.

If you have a free Skill Point, you can distribute it in the skills window that opens by pressing the key [K]. Abilities currently available for learning have a plus sign next to their icon. To distribute a skill point, simply click on the “plus” next to the icon of the selected ability and confirm your choice by pressing the key [E].

Previously allocated skill points can be reset in a special sanctuary of Stendarr (Stuhn) for a certain (and considerable) donation. With each new approach, the size of the donation grows.

So do you want to heal? Do you have the mentality it takes to be an excellent healer? This guide should teach you Healing 101 and give you helpful tips on keeping your party members alive! So let's start with our ESO healing guide.

What is the work of a healer?

I think about healing completely differently than most. To be a healer is to be a captain of defense. The idea here is that the tank (damage recipient) and you work together to position the team, support party members, and optimize the group. This can be done in many ways, and the best healers are those who prevent damage rather than heal it.

Healing- The obvious here. Someone deals damage, you heal them so they don't die. Information is the key to healing. Knowing you are the party's strengths and weaknesses, the fighting mechanics, or the overall metagame (big picture). Great healers rely on themselves for information, not the tank or others.
Positioning. As I said above, the best heals are those that prevent damage. You should always communicate with your team using typing or voice where you can position. Even though it's chaotic, you'll watch your health bars and see the spike damage and guide your team.
Communication- “Get out of the red zone.” Yes, it works, but explaining the mechanics and understanding them will help your team better than yelling. Keep people accountable too. If you want to complete short content, everyone in the group is responsible for their role. Ask for feedback, such as “what killed you?” Or “could I heal from this?”
Buffs– Before the meeting starts, give us buffs. This is a temporary or permanent boost for your character or party. Ask your group, “Do we all have potions, food, weapons, etc?” While this doesn't seem to drop on the healer, you can't heal the boss before it dies. You will need support from DPS to take down enemies. If they are well equipped, you won't need to heal.
Cleansing– This removes negative effects from friendly players and prevents a lot of damage. There are very few purges in Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), and Effective Purge (Army of War skill) is a must. Remember that preventing damage is just as important as healing health.
Damage“Yeah, you'll still have to do some damage.” My voice says you can't heal a boss to death. I rely on Ultimate, to take care of my damage and repair the emergency damage. If everyone is full, start dealing damage.

How to heal allies

Area (AoE)– ESO is basically an area-wide heal, with the exception of a few class specific abilities. Healing in this game is very different from others and can provide unique challenges and opportunities. Since AoE healing is an area of effect healing, positioning is important to consider. Let me show you a couple of photos for demonstration. Keep in mind that the easiest and most effective healing in the game is Healing Springs (a morph of the Restoration ability Greater Heal).

Single target. There are really only a few targeted heals. The one I use most often is Healing Ward (Restoration Staff Steady Ward morph). This gives a nice bubble of damage and then pops up to restore health. The only problem is that you can't channel it, the ability defaults to the lowest health ally.

HoTs or healing over time. The main source of HoTs is restoring the regeneration ability of allies. While both morphs are good, I would recommend Rapid Regeneration over Mutagen at this point. The reason is that I have a root healing button with Healing Ward, so I want the HoTs to constantly level up and provide a constant flow of healing. To monitor timers, it is recommended to use FTC. After the HoTs drop, use them again.

Burst– This game has limited single target burst healing. The best example of this is the Breath of Life from the Templar ability. Restoration Squad has Blessings of Protection which do a decent job, although I rely on constant Healing Sources over this ability.

Utility– Great healers bring more than a couple of hots to the table. Whether it's your class buff, speed boost, or super powerful end result, make sure you can help the team. The best example of this is Necrotic Orb from the Undaunted skill line. Not only does this ability provide strong synergies, but it restores magic to allies. Another great group utility that uses stamina is quick maneuvers turned into retreating maneuvers from the alliance war mastery line. When I'm tanking, it's hard to run out of red zones with little stamina.

Defense wins dungeons. Just like the click ol' NFL, defense wins championships, so it helps tackle dungeons. Make sure your team is positioned in order, unpenalized, and ready to fight. If things don't go well, don't blame each other for developing a game plan and keep trying. If you have trouble dying over and over again, play defensively. You have a backup healer, someone focused on buffs and strong DPS range. This will help you finish content you've never seen before.

Setting up the panel

There are many class-specific abilities that are great for healing. But I wanted to make this guide for ALL classes. I'm going to assume that you have access to these abilities and the time and energy required to acquire them (minus Barrier Replenishment). Let me explain how I use these abilities.

Panel one | Basic Healing

  • Inner Light - 20% critical chance, yes you should have that. Make sure it is on or on and off to skip the Guild Magic passive to increase spell power.
  • Healing Springs. This is a great, inexpensive and simple treatment that can literally keep everyone alive. The trick is that your party must stay together to get maximum results. Continue to position the group around the area when the group needs healing.
  • Rapid Regeneration is our main source of HoTs and should be there at all times. Even if HoTs are up and you're full of magic, try again earlier when things get rough.
  • Healing Ward - If anyone gets below 50%, hack, hit them with a couple of Springs and they'll get better.
  • Retreating Maneuver is a utility and can be replaced if necessary. I find this useful for tanks, speed runs, etc. I could see a lot of things here like "Magic Weapon for Dragon Knight" or "Light Shards" for Templar.
  • Barrier Refill (Ultimate) is one of the high-ranking PvP abilities and can be difficult to obtain. You essentially need long-term defense. Each class has them, Shooting Power Standard, Templar Solar Prison, Leg Blade, and Sorcerer Absorption Field. Hold rotating ultimatums while reducing damage by 30% at all times. Preventing damage is as important as healing.

Panel two | Resources and utilities

  • Interior light – I like this on the second bar so it doesn't turn on or off. Unfortunately, this takes up 20% of our skills.
  • Siphon Spirits – I like this ability because the party gains health and magic to attack the enemy. The best thing to do is to visit the boss early and often.
  • Ring of conservation. Most people have never heard of this ability, but it is powerful. The ring uses stamina rather than magic and provides tons of armor, spell resistance and more if fighting Daedra. Since I'm driving a light tank, it's very important that someone in the party controls it. This may eventually be replaced by an effective class ability. Wizards can use Hardened Ward and NBs can use Funnel Health.
  • Effective cleaning. We need someone to remove DoT and that's it. The area is cast so again positioning is a must. You will need to keep a close eye on the group to check if they are dealing damage and pop regularly.
  • Symmetry of spells. If we don't have magic to heal, we die. If we die, the whole team dies. The trick to this ability is that the tank has aggro on the high priority target cast 3-4 times and then on the Healing Ward target. You can't heal yourself for a few seconds, but someone else can. And trust me, you will die several times before you get it.
  • Sturdy Horn (ultimate) – You can place utility or damage available here. I love that the War Horn has evolved into a Durable Horn for all resources. You will be pleased to hear this sound and see how DPS and HPS increase quickly.

Bottom line

This is an example of a healing setup that could work for every class. Just like in a game or in life, check your attitude. If you come into a dungeon thinking I'm a lousy healer and no one wants me, this is the result you'll get. If you go into the same situation with the attitude that I am the best healer and no one will die in my hands, you will get this result.

Understand that when people die, it is not always your fault. Some will try to blame you for this. But remember that they don't have the courage to try to heal. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this article. The next step is tanking, perhaps the hardest and most dangerous role in MMOs.
